Joy is very food oriented too, and I use that power for good! I've clicker trained her, and as part of that training, I have ALSO taught her that begging for treats is not going to work ;) It has also given me an amazing set of resources that allow me to establish parameters and at the same time -- you may want to consider clicker training Tom, too....
