Stopped by Borders at lunch to see if they had a book that I wanted to get for my dad. They didn't.

I did find three books for me though. I don't think it was supposed to work that way.

excellent. I braved a couple of stores at lunch, but planned fairly carefully to avoid lineups. And everyone in the stores I was at seemed in a lovely mood, which was nice!!

LOL - It often works that way for me as well.

It does seems like I usually have the most success in finding stuff for me when I'm trying to shop for others!

LOL I know how that is! I was trying to find something on Amazon for someone else the other day when I noticed that the *new* Blu-ray version of Stargate The Movie (with all the extras) was on sale for $11.99! I could not pass that up. And while I was at it, the new cookbook I'd been wanting just jumped into my shopping cart, too. Oops. *g*

And this year I can't just give these things to my husband and say, "I bought you some stuff to stick in my stocking," because we all decided to do one big birthday/Christmas present this year, so the four of us are only getting 2 presents each (more or less *g* as I did sneak in a few extra things for the kids, as did toolman), and I'm going light on the stocking stuff. ;)

Ah well...

You'll really love those books, though, right? *g* And I will soon be making delicious soups while I watch Stargate The Movie in HD. :-) mmm...James Spader Daniel

Plus Amazon is doubly dangerous because of that handy one click option. It's so easy to load up the shopping cart.

hehe Yeah. I have 1-click turned off, but I have tons of things in the "save for later" portion of my shopping cart.
