(no subject)

Why oh why do some sites insist on having little popup ads or videos that open up automatically? Do they not realize that some of us surf from time to time at work and that having a voice suddenly talk about the Food Network or whatever is not so pleasing?

I don't feel too guilty* about websurfing at the office because it's a fairly informal environment and I get my work done. Still, I could do without the auditory evidence that I might be looking at something that's not work-related.

*But I do feel some guilt. Because a little smidge of guilt is just a part of my personality.

I know!

Like if you go to http://www.lifetimetv.com/shows/cheerleader/index.html they have a rather loud cheer going on.

Lets have some consideration for those who surf at work!

Yeah! It can't be an unknown to them that there are one or two, maybe even three people out there that do a little work day surfing. They could be a little more considerate of the people that they're trying to entice with their ads.
