I just got an email that my 20th high school reunion is this year.
How did this happen? How have 20 years passed since I graduated from high school?
Much to my surprise, I'm thinking I might actually go. Unlike many people I know, high school wasn't a miserable experience for me. I wouldn't want to do it again, but I've never regarded it as the best time of my life either. I've never felt an overwhelming desire to reconnect with everyone I went to high school with. But I guess 20 years is enough time passed to be curious what others in my class are like now.
I don't know. By September I may decide that attendance is not a particularly appealing idea.

Did you go to your 10 year? I really wanted to. I, also, didn't have a horrible time in high school. I was really bored and ready to move on. I didn't get to go to my 10 year because we had just moved to San Jose and I couldn't afford to go! *pout* I should be able next year, though! ;o]

This last Sunday a friend mentioned that she was on the reunion committee. My first thought was a sort of "blech". But then when I was copied on an email, I saw these names of people. Names of people that I had a basically neutral relationship with, but made me a soften a bit and wonder what people are like now, what are they up to?
