You know what sucks about vacations? The coming back from vacation. I really, really didn't want to come in to work today. And I don't particularly want to be here now that I'm here. But bills have to be paid, so I guess I'll have to get over it.

It was a fabulous weekend and I'm so glad I went. Allyson and Maya did an excellent job organizing--just as I expected that they would. It was so great to see people that I hadn't seen in a long, long time. As usual, there's a feeling of letdown for me and sadness that I don't see people like dao, Dreamlurker, gypsy86 kimexclaimation, lawgeekgurl, sachieljgm, texaslawchick, and others that I may be forgetting to name but nevertheless hold in my heart. Rollerskating, shopping, lazing about in rooms, or dancing--it's all good. I hope that everyone had as good a time as I did.

I hear rumors of a possible party in '05. I'm so there if it happens.

I'm sorry you weren't able to be at this year's event. You were very much missed. We'll hope for better luck next time around.

It was so great to see you, too! You are a dancing machine, girl! I think we were the most diehard out there (well, except for Opus). It is a shame that we all live scattered about the world. I hope there is a party next year, as I would love to go also.

BTW, 'stina has pictures of you at the party that she wants to post. She has been putting them in her journal (

texaslawchick) in locked entries to get everyone's okays before posting them to the world at large. She mentioned that she's not on your friends list so she's afraid you won't see the post to you. Check out her journal and let her know!
