(no subject)

The Association of American University Presses, of which of the press that employs me is a member, held their annual meeting in New Orleans this year which concluded this past weekend. One of the things that they organized for attendees was a tour of areas devastated by Katrina. One of people on the tour videoed it and put a segment from the 9th Ward on YouTube. The quality of the video itself seems surprisingly good to me considering it was done from a moving bus. The scenery within the video is sobering.
