well, i don't like cookies goopy, but i don't like some cookies to be too crisp, either. i think oatmeal should have some chew, and tollhouse should have some, but not as much as oatmeal. shortbread should be not chewy at all tho. peanut butter i don't like chewy at all either. is chewy the same as doughy? to me doughy means goopy and raw, but chewy doesn't.
for brownies i like the center chewy and the edges just a tiny big crisp. that is how the recipe cindy found years ago always comes out. they are very chewy and fudgy. i dont like brownies that are cakelike at all.
