Sep. 21st, 2004 02:35 pmI've been looking at houses and townhouses for the past few weeks. Today at lunch I looked at the cutest little house yet. It's on a nice big lot (lots of lawn to mow, yay?) in what looks to be a really pleasant neighborhood.
It's a little bit smaller than what my dream house would be and unfortunately there's no basement or garage. But it's really laid out well and makes good use of the square footage that it does have. I just fell in love with it. But I'm trying not to get too excited because there's miles and miles to go before making things work out. But my agent is going to check with the first inspector with the home buying assistance program that I'm working through to see if we can at least make it through the first hoop.
So today I feel a little less discouraged than I had been feeling.
But, as I say, I'm trying not to get too excited because there's a good chance that things will go nowhere with this one or someone will snatch it out from underneath me.
