So, I mentioned a few days ago that I'd gotten the set of season 1&2 dvds for Newsradio. I finished watching them over the weekend. They were really entertaining. On top of the shows themselves, 20 of the 29 episodes had commentaries. In most cases, the commentaries were almost as entertaining as the episodes. Really fun stuff. I always think it's fun to watch shows where the cast obviously is in sync with each other. They come across in the episodes as enjoying each other's company. What becomes clear in the commentaries is that while there were the occasional tiffs and whatnot (what workplace doesn't have that), they really loved the show and working with each other. I always think it's cool when that attitude come through.
It was a nice antidote for the blues that I was feeling. (And then Monday came and an element of the blues returned.) Lately I've been thinking how much I wish there were a way that I could be well-paid for staying at home, reading books and watching television and dvds.
