Mar. 14th, 2006 10:25 amIn other news, I've succumbed to the siren call of consumerism.
Not long ago I mentioned that I was debating whether to my a laptop or not. The most compelling reason in favor being "but I waaaaant it."
The "want it" argument won out. I just ordered it this morning. At the Apple discount for working for an educational institution. But still, I'll be making payments for awhile. Also the plan is to get broadband internet access from the cable company. So there's that expense too. But I'm tired of not having online access from home.
It's possible that I may have to give up food in order to cover the added monthly expenses. Life is full of tradeoffs.
