One of the pieces that they did this afternoon on All Things Considered was people reading from Voices from Chernobyl. This is an oral history of people who experienced that event in some way. The part that I heard may have been one of the most moving, heartbreaking, and harrowing thing I've ever listened to.

It doesn't seem possible that it's been 20 years since that disaster.
