Well it is fun. And it's a good story prompt. I just didn't anticipate the new experience of (in fits and starts) getting right to the cusp of the conversation that's to be the focal point of the whole story, being able hear huge chunks of the conversation in my head, and not being able to quite get it transferred to the written word while a deadline mocks me. Stupid thoughts that won't organize correctly. ;) I have a feeling the final product is not going to be quite what I had envisioned when I started out, and it's going to be a very talky fic, but I'm maintaining optimism that I'll get it to come together by the end of the weekend.
Or, I could do an interactive story and have people write their own endings in the comments section. Hey...
