Dec. 16th, 2008 08:19 amI knew I was living on borrowed time. Last winter already my car was acting a little cranky on the coldest mornings. But then spring came and all was well. This current cold snap was too much for it. It sort made a rrr rrr sound when I tried to start it up, then said "are you crazy?" and refused to do anything more. The battery's six years old, so I'd say I've gotten my money's worth. So I here I sit, waiting for AAA, then it's off to get a new battery, then it's off to work.
In other news, it's amazing what a difference there can be between 6F and 13F. Yesterday morning the dog walk in 6 degree whether was horrible. This morning in 13 degree weather it wasn't so bad. It also helped that there isn't much wind today. It is snowing though. Let the freeze-thaw-freeze cycle begin!
