Go to Wikipedia and look up your birth day (excluding the year). List three facts, two births and one death in your journal, including the year.

*1718 - Off the coast of North Carolina, British pirate Edward Teach (best known as "Blackbeard") is killed in battle with a boarding party led by Lieutenant Robert Maynard.

*1922 - Egyptology: Howard Carter, assisted by Lord Carnarvon, opens the tomb of Tutankhamun.

*1968 - The Beatles release the double-album The Beatles, commonly known as The White Album.

These are a nice change of pace from the JFK assassination which is what usually comes to mind for November 22. Though I must say, there seem to be an alarming number of bombings and events of political unrest that have happened on 11/22 throughout history.

Birthdays:
1819 - George Eliot, British novelist (d. 1880)
1940 - Terry Gilliam, American/British comedian and director
1943 - Billie Jean King, American tennis player

Death:
I've already mentioned JFK in my editorial comments, so I'll go with someone else:
1963 - C. S. Lewis, Irish author (b. 1898)
