I've been noticing a few ants here and there in my bathroom, no big deal but enough for me to notice and say "hmmm" to myself. I go home for lunch today and my kitchen sink (which, admittedly, has had some dirty dishes in it waiting to be washed for a few days) is crawling with ants. Teeming would also be a good word for it. Now I kind of feel like things are crawling on me.

So, I stopped at the hardware store on the way back from lunch to get stuff to deal with it. Not a terribly big deal, and I know this will be resolved fairly easily, but,this is yet another reason why being an adult sucks. Dealing with these kind of things myself instead letting my much more competent parents make the problem go away....

I may be breeding super ants

I've been battling the teeny ants in the bathroom since the week before the superbowl. I think I keep knocking down the worker population but I'm failing to get the queen. I have seen them in a day or two so maybe I've finally gotten rid of them. after all, they're due in the yearly kitchen invasion soon.
