Well, I tried to be a good citizen today. I went to donate blood over my lunch hour. I got past the first hurdle by having enough iron. (Sometimes it's too low for me donate.) And we started the donation process well enough. But then with the bag about 2/3 full, my pesky blood coagulated up at the needle site and that was it for that donation. It's good to know that if I accidentally cut myself, I don't have to worry about bleeding to death, I guess. But I am sorry that I couldn't make a full donation. I did fill out a reminder card to donate when I'm eligible again.

And in the meantime, I need to get back in the habit of drinking lots of water.
