What a lovely, fun poll. I picked "dark chocolate" as my favorite because I don't consume dairy products and thus can't have milk chocolate. However, there is a form of vegan milk chocolate put out by Tropical Source, and it's lovely. They also make vegan chocolate chips. :-D
I like pretty much anything in chocolate or with chocolate in it, except fruit. Fruit and chocolate should never mix.
When I was growing up, I didn't really like dark chocolate. But something switched somewhere along the way, and while I like it all, dark chocolate is my favorite. The darker the better.
Yeah, I don't like that either. That's even worse than biting into what you think is a chocolate chip cookie and discovering that those are raisons instead. (Not that I necessarily have anything against raisons, but it's very disappointing when you're expecting chocolate.)
However, serve me chocolate covered strawberries and I will do your every bidding. *drool*
I have mixed emotions on the coconut issue. I do not in general like coconut. However, toasted coconut in chocolate is fabulous. As are chocolate coconut donuts from Dunkin Donuts (but I don't like regular coconut donuts, only the chocolate ones).
And my mom's chewy coconut oatmeal cookies are quite snackable.
And wow could I be taking this at a more ridiculously serious level? *g*
Oh yeah. I'm a bit fan of chocolate fondue, for example. Bananas or strawberries dipped in chocolate are very yummy. But I don't like candy that has fruit incorporated. It just doesn't seem like the best use of either element.

I'm not a fan of nuts, fruits, creams (or bugs - ick!) but peanut butter, nougat, caramel...that's all good. Very good. :)
