Calling Indiana Jones fans

Hey, sort of a trivia question.

You know that bit it the first movie when Indiana and Karen Allen sealed into the place with all of the snakes? ("Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?") Was it called anything? A buried temple? The pit of doom? Hole in the ground?

Or, pit of snakes. Is that the common reference?

I'm drawing a blank and I want to make a reference to it in something that I'm writing.
