Oh the travails of writing. I have a fic in mind. One that I've sort of started now. A bit of an episode tag that has a lot of potential, I think. I was thinking about it a lot over the last few days. Entire lines of dialog and descriptors were very clear in my mind. Unfortunately, those lines of text came to mind while I was either dog walking, driving, or in the shower. Now that I'm actually sitting with the laptop on my, well, lap, some of what was once so sharp and clear in my head has fled.

I'm pretty sure that it'll come back. I've still got the basics. It's just a matter of noodling around until it all resurfaces. I was afraid this would happen though. I remember trying to sort of imprint some of the best stuff so it would be there when I was ready to write. It didn't all take.

Stupid brain. *hmph*

Gah, I had this happen while I was driving the other day, and all I can remember is thinking, "Oh, that would be so cool! I have to use that in a fic!" *growls at brain*
