Jul. 15th, 2005 11:52 amI listen to classical music while I'm at work because, well, I like classical music and I think it makes a pleasing background while working. The station I listen does listeners request programming on Friday morning. The pieces selected are usually interesting, sometimes weird. But what's on now is Ravel's "Bolero". I know that this is a very popular piece, but I find it extremely boring. I kind of enjoy for the first couple of minutes, but then it seems like it's just the same theme over and over again without much to add interest to all the repetition.
Sadly, that's really the only thing to report on in my world today. Other than that I'm excited that tonight is premier night on SciFi and that I'll be picking up the new Harry Potter at midnight--or at the time thereafter when I get to the front of the line.
