garden update
Mar. 9th, 2007 08:27 am1. My crocuses are starting to bloom, with more to follow. I love crocuses--they're such cheerful little flowers.
2. Some of my daffodils and squill are on deck to bloom soon, maybe another day or two.
3. I think my hyacinth may be about a week away.
4. Tulip shoots are looking fuller, but no flowers in sight yet.
5. The irises are looking livelier. I think I'm several weeks away from any blooms, but there's some new growth showing.
6. Tiny shoots from the peony are starting to poke above the soil.
Whee! I'm at the stage now where I closely inspect the garden every single time I walk in or out of the house. I say this all the time, but, I just never realized that gardening was so exciting until I had one of my own. I love this time of year.
