smg01Aww, I have a good mommy and daddy.
The other day, I was trying to change out the old deadbolt at my new home and things got stuck and I didn't have the tools to resolve it. I was thinking I might have to call a locksmith to deal with it. My dad suggested that I just leave a key with him and he'd see what he could do. So Tuesday while I was at work he and my mom went to my place and he was able to finish changing out the lock. And my mom cleaned the vent over the range in the kitchen. And they connected the hoses and ducts for the washer and dryer in the basement.
When I went home for lunch today and walked into the living room, I thought something looked different. Then I realized there were new pillows on the sofa. Mom stopped by to leave some that matched the new sofa slipcover she had bought for me. And she left a tablecloth for the dining room table.
And they left a nice little check for me to help pay for the incidentals involved in moving into a new place.
