I must confess that I'm not sure I made a correct word for word quote, but I know I got the main elements right. It's a tough one.

It would probably have been easier to get this one if you, like me, had recently watched your season 2 dvds of The Simpsons. Mr. Burns made this statement after the public unveiling of the portrait the Marge did of him. Said portrait displayed Mr. Burns completely naked. Further comments included:

Burns: "Thank you for not making fun of my genitalia."

Marge whispering to Homer: "I thought I did."

Ah-HA! I knew I'd heard that before, but I couldn't place it. In fact, if I listed off the shows I thought it might have been, I don't think the Simpsons would have made the cut, as I really don't watch it that often. I'm glad you told us, though, 'cause that had the potential to drive me nuts. :)

Hee! I know the feeling. Sometimes I can hear quote in my head, right down to the inflections, but still can't quite place it. Drives me crazy when that happens.

I own the DVD set, but haven't seen it on a long time. No wonder it sounded familiar but I had no idea what it was. Argh!

This episode was just on last night. I had never seen it. And at the end, when Mr. Burns said that, I immediately thought, that's the quote! (I hadn't read your answer yet, only seen the quotes.) Only I didn't say it out loud, because Mike would have thought I was a loon.
