There's a nice Veronica Mars article at salon here. The writer got a little confused about the timeline regarding when the party with the drugged sex was and the state of Veronica's and Duncan's togetherness, but other than that I thought it was good. I'm glad Veronica Mars solved the mystery of Lilly Kane's murder in this season closer, but what meant more to me was the way Veronica crumpled into her father's arms when he told her that he now knew for sure that he was really her father. (Some previous infidelities on the part of Mrs. Mars had made his paternity questionable.) The moment, played by two superb actors with ardent emotion and, amazingly, zero sentimentality, is a small instance of television perfection. Veronica and her dad are in charge of saving no world but their own, and that's enough.

*sniff* So true. That scene may have been the best of the series so far, imho. They both played it perfectly and it broke my heart and made me deliriously happy at the same time.

Have I mentioned I love this show?

I am a little irritated at the author's issues with the details. It is kind of important that the party was after Lily died and that Duncan was *not* Veronica's boyfriend at the time. What show was she watching? To get the show as much as she seems to but not have the details right is just weird.

Yeah, wasn't it? It wasn't like there was ever any ambiguity about the timeline of that particular event. That's a little strange. Maybe she came to show late. But clearly she at least grasps the spirit of the show.
