They really are. I'm so saddened for everyone effected.
But I can't helping wondering, though -- if it was, say, GLAAD or NOW that was suffering all these horrible accidents, if the current administration and the religious right would be calling them "Judgements from God"...
(I don't believe in "Judgements from God" myself. But boy, this is a lot of lightning and deaths and illnesses!!!
As a former scout, I'm at least proud that (apparently) the boys in California did exactly what they were supposed to do; some of them administered CPR to try to save the injured boy, while two of them went for help. While I'm critical of some of the BSA's policies, they do a lot of good.
