I have crocuses blooming! Some of them from bulbs that I planted my very own self. :) And the squill bulbs that I bought and planted on impulse last fall are starting to bloom and look like they're going to be lovely. The hyacinths are also starting to come up. I think I may have been a little too enthusiastic when I planted the those bulbs last fall. I think I'll have to do some transplanting later because I suspect that they're a little too close together. But I guess the nature of gardening is that it is on ongoing project.

I'm glad now that I bought a place that had an existing garden. I don't think I would have created one on my own and I would be missing out on this fun. My heart lifts a little bit every time I see new growth.

*hugs*

It is so much fun. I keep thinking that there are probably neighbors who are laughing at me a little bit because every single time I walk in or out of the house I have to stop and inspect the garden to see if there's anything new. Even if it's only been an hour or two since I walked by. I'm suck a dork. *g*
