Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] aizjanika. What direction is this woman spinning?

When I first opened the page she spun counter clockwise for about one spin and then she shifted to clockwise. That exact pattern followed once more I looked away and looked back. Other than those two spins, she spins clockwise for me. The right brain listings does seem to match my perception of myself--though I'd probably pick an item or two from the left brain column. Interesting and fun.

Give it a spin!
I'm so sorry. The words just insisted on being typed.

At first, she was spinning clockwise. If I focus she spins the other way, but I have to try.

If I ONLY look at her feet, she spins first one way, then the other, never making a full circle. Like, she's switching feet or something.

Ah ha! Looking at the feet seems to be the key. Now that you say that, if I concentrate on the legs (and blink at the right time), I can get the direction to change. Weird.

It took me a long time to get her to switch. I have to stare at the lower part of her legs, then sometimes as her legs kind of cross each other, she'll turn around for me.

At one point, I'd stared at her so long that I started to get a little dizzy. Oops.

Try looking at her feet and softening your focus a bit. =)

She turns clockwise for me, no surprise... and counter for my very left-brained fiance. But once I got the hang of it, I could turn her at will. Nifty thing.

I thought it was BS and switched on its own ofter a reset time because mine switched back and forth and I could see the switch happen while read the stuff on the side. The dancer is pretty much 3D looking at it and the way it was moving it looked like there was no way I could mistake the direction and I could see the change out of the corner of my eye and there was no mistake in the new direction. But I could force the change if just ganged after about 30 second or 45 seconds. Half the times I leave and come back it's spinning the other way. It feels rigged to me.
