the JKR/Lexicon trial strikes again

The transcript from the trial has been released. Someone at FW posted this snippet:

4 A. Well, it probably will be at some point, but no, he hasn't
5 done it yet.

I admire the execution of snark from JKR.

Still in progress. There probably won't be a ruling until sometime in May.

I think the Stanford group in particular has an axe that they're grinding. I don't think a settlement is going to happen.

The judge does have a point that the rammafications of this might be larger than what this court can handle.

You know, reading the transcript...I'm not sure which way this case will be decided.

JKR was the best witness. Although the Berkeley expert by the defense was very articulate too. The Oxford one got a little confusing, but she was also good. My favorite is when the judge started asking her if he was right about Bleak House. HEE. That judge is awesome.

Some of the lawyers...on both sides...I just shook my head going what are they thinking?
