smg01--SG-1 folks with either better memories or better attention to detail than I have:
We know Sam got her promotion to full colonel before deploying to Atlantis. The promotion came after Ark of Truthiness yes? Does it go against cannon to have her receiving it just prior to leaving for Atlantis?

Drat. I really liked the ending that I had in mind. 'Tis okay though. The general idea will still work.
