May. 21st, 2009 10:59 amI pretty much take the same dog walking route every day. There's a limited number (two) of options as far as which direction I can go. Every once in awhile, I mix it up and take a northern route. And then I put that option aside for a few months. The problem with taking a route that goes north is that it involves crossing a bridge that spans an interstate. It's got a nice, high chain-link fence along the side, but it still feels a bit exposed for my taste. Last night I decided to try that route to see how it felt. Yeah. It still gives me the willies. Don't think I'll be doing that again soon.

In an unrelated query: I know that if an LJ post is given a date of sometime in the future, it will stay anchored at the top of a journal. If I go the opposite route, giving it a date that has passed, does that it won't show up on anybody's flist feed?
