smg01 | Calling all SG-1 writers

Once upon a time (back in 2008) the lovely and inimitable

sg_fignewton conceived of a fun ficathon,

sg1friendathon. Enough time has passed for all of us to forget the stress of writing to that particular deadline, so the time has come to resurrect it. (The ficathon, I mean, not the stress. ~~Stress~~ Anticipation is a mere byproduct.) Toward that end,

sg_fignewton has created a poll to gauge interest and come up with some timing guidelines. Go here for information, to submit your votes, and to offer any other feedback.

Oh, yeah. I'm on board as a co-moderator for this happy little endeavor. This is a sign that either Fig has lost her mind for offering it to me, or I've lost my mind for jumping eagerly on board. I leave it to you to decide this for yourself.

The SG-1 Friendathon is for gen only stories. It's a chance to celebrate the deep friendships among the varied and various characters of SG-1. And it's a heck of a lot of fun. The series may be long over, but that doesn't mean that there aren't stories yet to be written.
