the money she goes quickly

The other day I ordered some window blinds in the interests of asthetics and in the interests of having something to cover my bedroom window. Then yesterday I bought paint and supplies to paint over the red in the hallway and bathroom that I'm not so crazy about. And made the determination that I was done spending money for awhile.

Not quite. I'd forgotten that I wanted a new vacuum cleaner because my old one seems to have mostly succumbed to the pet hair. So I bought a Dyson that seems to be all the rage now. I'm very excited about getting it put together and using it. (I love getting new toys--even if it's a cleaning supply.)

And then, while buying the vacuum cleaner, I made the one purely frivolous purchase over the past few weeks. Homedics makes this device that you can put on your chair that provides you with a reasonable imitation of a shiatsu massage. It rocks! I really didn't need to spend that additional $, but I'm not sorry I did.

Now, I think I'm done spending money for awhile.

It's called Whisper Violet. It's a very subtle color and will be a pretty significant change. Hopefully it'll be pretty when it's all done.

having recently done the move thing, i know what you mean. home depot, target, and bed, bath and beyond saw more of my money then i did.

my one frivolous expense?....hm. the new cookie jar i'm using as my color palette for my kitchen.

I hadn't even been in a Bed, Bath, and Beyond until I moved. I had no idea there were so many cool things to buy there. I have a feeling more of money is going to be going there eventually. But not for awhile.
