Now I really feel moved in

A few days ago my dad and I finally got together to mount bookshelves on my walls. He owns the the power tools and the skill to wield them, so I needed him to help me. I made one of the bedrooms into a sort of library and last night I got all of my books out of boxes and on to shelves. It feels great to have those eleven boxes empty and off the floor. It's amazing how satisfying it feels to get that done.

my take on it is that it will happen when it is supposed to happen. until then, i'll make do with the cabinets i have and the lack of storage i'm finding myself with. but when it does finally happen, i'm plastering my LJ with pictures of blue cabinets and cookie jars.
