I'd just like to take this moment to say, the sound of golf ball sized hail falling on your roof and against your windows is a most unpleasant sound. Also unpleasant is the knowledge that it's probably dinging the hell out of your car.

I'm pretty much a Weather loving girl, but hail is one of the exceptions to that. grrrr

eeep! That doesna sound good. I've only seen tiny hail and even those were not pleasant.

About ten years ago or so, I was driving in my car when large hail started falling. That was pretty scary. Large or small, though, the sound of it hitting against things is one a happy one. (We really don't get hail all that often here, but when we do, it seems to be memorable.)

One nearby area was reporting baseball sized hail. eeek!

That's good. In one hail storm my aunt and uncle had two of their vehicles completely ruined in a hail storm.

I have a friend in the Lawrence area who had 3 pieces of hail go through her convertible top. She was none to pleased.
