What I learned from Forensic Files

It seems that just about any profession can have forensic attached to it.

For example, I had no idea that there was such a thing as forensic plumbers. As it turns out, such people exist. And a forensic plumber helped prove that what was staged as a suicide was actually murder.

I also learned that it's impossible to drown yourself in a toilet. They're designed in such a way that you can't submerge both your mouth and nose. It never would have occurred to me to wonder about that, but there you have it.

It does, doesn't it? Like I mentioned, I never would have even considered something like that. It's interesting to know that there are designers/engineers that have.

*hee* This is what TV does to those of us with curious minds. On Tuesday, a bunch of us were in Chris's office, telling him about Grissom's bug fascination, and how it helps in his job. This was somehow relevant to what we were supposedly talking about, but I don't remember why.
