Once upon a time, or several years ago, I crocheted my very first afghan. It's kind of lopsided, but it was fun to do and at least the yarn is pretty even if the finished product would never win any prizes.
Many years later, on the previous Thanksgiving weekend I decided to start on another afghan. I fear that this one is going to wind up looking a little lopsided too. *sigh* But crocheting is a pleasant way to pass the time while watching television. And it makes me feel like I'm being semi-creative. It's actually a little bit addictive for me once I get started.
I need to get a life.

Date: 2005-11-29 05:27 am (UTC)Oh, and you need to learn to crochet hats. They go by pretty quickly and make nice gifts. And they're easier to keep from getting lopsided! If we're ever at a gathering at the same time again, I'll be more than happy to teach you to crochet hats.
